Broken link checker

Find links that send readers and search crawlers to missing pages, failed servers or unnecessary redirects.

Check links on a pageInternal and external destinations
Enter the exact page that contains the links you want to inspect. Up to 50 links are checked.

Each link is requested live from our servers. 3 pages per visitor per day.

Check the page, then check every destination.

A useful broken-link check separates true errors from redirects and sites that limit automated requests.

01

Read the page

Collect every internal and external link from the submitted URL.

02

Request each destination

Record the response each link returns, without following it further.

03

Prioritize the fixes

Show broken links first, followed by redirects and responses that need a manual check.

Not every failed request is a broken page.

Status codes need context. A clear report explains what happened and what to do next.

Fix internal links first

You control both sides of the link. Update the destination, restore the missing page or remove the link.

Update redirected destinations

A redirect may still work, but linking directly to the final page removes an avoidable request.

Review blocked external sites

A 403 or 429 response can mean the page blocks automated checks. Open the link in a browser before removing it.

Keep checking the page
