How can we help?

Clear answers for setting up Rankauto, choosing topics, creating articles, publishing to your site and checking its health.

Getting started

What Rankauto does, what it needs from you and what happens before the first article is published.

4 guides
What does Rankauto automate?

Rankauto connects keyword research, article creation, SEO and GEO checks and CMS publishing in one workflow. It researches topics for your business, writes articles in your brand voice and can publish them on a schedule you control.

You can still review and edit each article before it goes live.

How do I set up my first website?

Start with your website URL. Rankauto reads the public pages on your site and prepares a business profile covering your products, audience, market and writing style.

Review that profile before keyword research begins. Correcting it early improves the topics and articles that follow.

What happens after setup?

Rankauto builds your topic pool, ranks the opportunities and prepares the writing queue. You can approve the direction, add your own keywords, and choose whether finished articles stay as drafts or publish automatically.

How does the free trial work?

Every new account gets a 3-day free trial, or your first 3 articles, whichever you reach first. A payment card is required to start, but you’re not charged during the trial itself.

If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged and your account continues automatically on the Growth plan so your setup, topics and drafts are never lost. Cancel any time from the Subscription page in your account for no charge.

Keyword research

How Rankauto finds, scores and manages the search opportunities for your business.

4 guides
Where do my keyword ideas come from?

Rankauto uses your website, business profile, market, named competitors and selected language to find relevant searches. It groups related terms so the plan covers a topic properly instead of producing disconnected articles.

How should I read keyword volume and difficulty?

Volume estimates how often people search for a term. Difficulty estimates how competitive the results may be. Rankauto weighs both against relevance and search intent, so the largest number is not always the best place to start.

Can I see every keyword Rankauto finds?

Yes. The Topics page shows the full discovered pool for your site, not a small fixed selection. Search, sort and download the list as a CSV whenever you need it.

Can I add my own keywords?

Yes. Add a keyword from the Topics page and it lands at the top of the writing queue. Rankauto checks it against your existing topics first, so duplicates are skipped rather than planned twice.

Articles and editing

How articles are researched, written, checked and adjusted before publishing.

How does Rankauto create an article?

Rankauto plans the structure for the topic and search intent, writes the article, then runs it through a separate SEO and factual check before linking, images and a chart or table are added. It can cite sources, add internal links to your own pages, and generate a featured and supporting images.

How does Rankauto learn my brand voice?

Rankauto starts with your existing website and the business details confirmed during setup. From Settings, you can set the target audience, tone, brand vocabulary, forbidden words and any CTAs that should appear in every article.

What gets added to each article?

Depending on the topic, an article can include cited sources, a featured image and supporting images, internal links to your existing pages, headings, a meta title and a meta description. Review factual or regulated claims before publishing.

Can I edit an article or ask AI to change part of it?

Yes. Edit the article directly in the built-in editor, or select a passage and ask AI to improve, shorten, expand or simplify it. Check the revised passage in context before saving or publishing.

Which languages can Rankauto write in?

Rankauto supports more than 100 languages. Language is set per topic, based on where that keyword was researched, so one site can genuinely publish in more than one language without extra setup.

Publishing and integrations

Connect your CMS, control article status and decide how much of the workflow runs automatically.

How do I connect WordPress?

Open CMS Integrations in your site’s Settings and choose WordPress. You’ll install a small Rankauto plugin on your WordPress site, generate a connection key from inside WordPress, then paste it into Rankauto and test the connection.

How do I connect Shopify?

Choose Shopify in CMS Integrations and complete the authorization on Shopify’s side. Pick the blog Rankauto should publish to, then use Publish Now on a draft to check formatting before turning on Auto Publishing.

How do I connect Wix?

Choose Wix in CMS Integrations and approve access on Wix’s own install screen for the correct site. Publish a test draft first and check the title, image and body layout inside Wix.

Can I publish to another CMS with a webhook?

Yes. Connect a webhook from CMS Integrations and Rankauto signs every delivery with a secret only you and Rankauto know, so your endpoint can verify it’s real.

See the full webhooks guide for the exact payload fields and working code samples.

How do I connect Webflow?

Choose Webflow in CMS Integrations and authorize Rankauto through your Webflow account, then pick the site and CMS Collection Rankauto should publish to.

Map Rankauto’s title, body, meta description and featured image to the matching fields in that collection. Your Webflow site needs to have been published at least once before articles can go into a CMS Collection.

Should I review drafts or turn on auto publishing?

Start with draft mode while Rankauto learns your preferences and you confirm CMS formatting. Turn on Auto Publishing once a CMS is connected and the topic choices, voice and structure meet your standard. It then publishes your scheduled daily articles automatically.

Anything you generate manually stays a draft until you publish it yourself, and you can turn Auto Publishing off again at any time.

SEO and GEO audit

Understand site health, find the pages affected and choose which technical issues to fix first.

How do I run an SEO and GEO audit?

Open SEO Audit, choose the site and a page limit, then start a new audit. Rankauto crawls the available pages and returns a site health score, crawl totals, link data and prioritized issues.

What is the difference between errors, warnings and notices?

Errors are the strongest signals that something may block crawling, indexing or a key page experience. Warnings deserve review but may not affect every site the same way. Notices are lower-priority observations.

How do I see which pages have an issue?

Open the Issues tab, choose an issue and inspect every affected page. Use this list to spot repeated template problems, such as missing image text or duplicate metadata, before fixing pages one by one.

Can I run the audit again after making changes?

Yes. Run a new audit to check whether the fixes changed the issue count and site health score. Page allowances reset monthly according to your plan, and on Pro and Scale that allowance is pooled across every site on the account.

Plans, billing and account

Article allowances, site limits, trial terms and the controls for your subscription.

5 guides
What is included in each plan?

Growth is $79 per month for 1 site and 30 articles. Pro is $169 per month for up to 3 sites and 90 pooled articles. Scale is $269 per month for up to 5 sites and 150 pooled articles. All three plans include SEO and GEO audits, keyword research and CMS publishing.

Do I need a card for the free trial, and what happens after it?

Yes. A payment card is required to start your trial, but you’re not charged during the trial itself.

If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged and your account continues automatically on the Growth plan. Cancel any time from the Subscription page for no charge, or switch straight to Pro or Scale from the same page if you already know you need more sites or articles.

What does a pooled article allowance mean?

Pro and Scale share one monthly article total across every site in the account. Pro can use its 90 articles in any split across up to 3 sites, instead of assigning a fixed 30 articles to each one.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Switch between Growth, Pro and Scale from the Subscription page in your account. The change applies immediately. Downgrading requires your active site count to fit the new plan’s limit first, so pause or remove a site if you need to.

Cancel from the same page whenever you like. Your plan stays active through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you can undo a cancellation any time before that date.

Can I invite team members?

Yes. Open the Team page in your account, enter a teammate’s email and send the invite. Rankauto emails them a real invite link (or shows you the link to share directly if delivery ever fails), and they get access to every site under your account once they accept. Remove access from the same page when someone no longer needs it.
